It features a Sony CCD chip and can display a resolution of 1600 x 1200 max. the use of a ccd chip instead of a cmos enhances the picture as separate pixels on a cmos chip can bleed colour into one another. On a ccd chip if a pixel picks up a colour it will not effect the pixels around it.
The lens in the camera is designed to replicate a X10 eyepiece so that the objectives will be par-focaled
The camera includes comprehensive software that will be compatible with Windows XP and Vista.
